枝に結んだおみくじのトップを造形しました。
おみくじは日本古来からあるフォーチューンテリングです。
現代でのそれはカジュアルで、ワンプレイ100円～で、主に神社でトライできます。
その内容の良し悪しに関わらず、境内の枝に結びます。
枝は強い生命力を表し、「結ぶ」という行為が神とを「結ぶ」ことと同じ意味合いとされます。
おみくじは持ち帰っても問題ありません。
おみくじを結ぶ枝を「みくじ掛け」と呼ばれます。
小さな神社や、枝を保護している神社はそれがない場合もあります。
それぞれの神社のルールに従ってください。

I created a 3D model of an omikuji tied to a branch as the featured piece.

Omikuji are a traditional form of Japanese fortune-telling that dates back centuries.
Today, they're a casual experience—typically costing around 100 yen per try—and are mainly found at Shinto shrines.
Regardless of the fortune's content, good or bad, people tie them to branches on the shrine grounds.
The branch is seen as a symbol of strong vitality, and the act of "tying" (musubu) is thought to carry the same meaning as "connecting" (musubu) with the divine.
It's also perfectly fine to take your omikuji home with you instead.
The branch where omikuji are tied is called a mikuji-kake.
Smaller shrines, or those that protect their trees, may not have one.
Please be sure to follow the rules of each individual shrine.
